Energetic Bloodwork Analysis

Energetic Bloodwork Analysis blends traditional Chinese Medicine wisdom with modern science to read between the lines of your lab results. In this approach, each marker is seen not just as data, but as an energetic message from your body. We look at your bloodwork through the lens of Qi, Blood, Yin, and Yang to understand where your system may be depleted, stagnant, or out of balance. This insight reveals how your emotional and energetic patterns may be influencing your physical health, guiding personalized nourishment and healing practices to restore flow and vitality.

What is Qigong?

a traditional Chinese healing practice that combines gentle movement, mindful breathing, and visualization.

This practice invites the idea that Qi is energy that runs through the body. When we are impacted by emotional trauma, we may feel blocked, stuck, and unsatisfied with where our life is going. A focus on cultivating and balancing “Qi” or “life force energy” can allow for harmony between mind, body, and spirit.

It combines gentle movements, controlled breathing, and meditation to harmonize the body, mind, and spirit. Often described as "moving meditation," Qigong exercises help improve physical flexibility, mental clarity, and emotional balance. Unlike some forms of exercise that rely on muscular strength, Qigong emphasizes relaxation and flow, making it accessible to people of all ages and physical conditions.

Healing emotional trauma is a deeply personal journey, and Qigong offers a gentle, holistic path tailored to your unique needs. In our work together, I'll support you in feeling more grounded, safe, and connected in your body. Through energetic & somatic practices, I'll create space for emotional release, resilience, and deeper understanding.

Meet Hillary

From a young age, I was sensitive to subtle energies, but I didn’t know or understand understand their significance. As I grew older and learned to suppress this intuitive awareness and my mental health began to suffer. Through both personal healing and professional exploration, I came to realize that reconnecting with energy, intuition, and self-compassion was essential to my well-being. My studies in mental health & Chinese Medicine deepened this understanding—showing me how mind, body, and spirit are inherently intertwined. This integration not only supported my own healing journey but also helped me process the complex grief of losing my mother at birth. Though her absence shaped me, my connection to spirit and the study of Qi have allowed me to feel her presence in profound and healing ways. Through this journey, I rediscovered more of my authentic self and listen to inner guidance that continues to inform both my life and my work.

How does Chinese medicine help with trauma?

Trauma is seen as a form of stagnation or disruption of qi (vital energy). It can lodge in the body as blocked qi, blood stagnation, or as an imbalance between organ systems. Over time, this stuck energy can lead to both emotional distress and physical symptoms (like anxiety, fatigue, digestive issues, or chronic pain).

In particular:
• Heart: affected by shock, grief, and loss — trauma can disturb the shen (spirit), leading to insomnia, anxiety, or dissociation.
• Liver: holds suppressed anger, resentment, or frustration — when qi stagnates here, emotions feel bottled or explosive.
• Spleen: weakened by overthinking and worry — trauma can cause the mind to “ruminate.”
• Kidneys: deeply affected by fear or long-term stress — depletion here often underlies PTSD, fatigue, and adrenal exhaustion.

Chinese Medicine aims to restore flow and reconnect the person to their body and spirit through acupuncture, herbal medicine, & through engagement in energy cultivation exercises called Dao Yin. The ultimate healing of trauma involves reintegrating the shen — returning the spirit to a sense of safety and embodiment. This means:

• Re-establishing internal harmony between the Heart (emotion) and Kidneys (fear/willpower)
• Restoring smooth communication between the organs and meridians
• Cultivating presence and vitality through mindful awareness

The goal isn’t to erase trauma, but to help the person transform it & allow the energy to move again so the experience becomes part of their wisdom rather than a source of disconnection.
